Madeline's AWESOME Blog!!!!!!!!!

Hey guys. I am happy to say that it is week 35 and we just have a week and a half left. This week we had a lot of field trips. On Monday we went on a field trip to the Museum of Science and Energy. We had a lot of fun. My favorite part was when we got to touch this ball that had energy inside and your hair went up. I was partners with Riley, Kate, Caroline, Anna, Haley, and Claire. On Tuesday we went on the West Valley field trip. It is a middle school in our area and we got to have a tour of it and we got to see all of the related arts. I am not going there but it was really fun to go and look around another middle school. On Wednesday, I went on the Bearden Middle School field trip. I was going to go there but instead I found out that I got accepted somewhere else last night. I had a lot of fun this week. On Thursday all the girls in fifth grade that got permission slips signed went to the cafeteria at 8 and watched a video and had the girl talk. Our student teacher, Anna Cate, came in and helped us make Mother’s Day cards. Today the boys had the boy talk at 8 and we got to have an hour of recess while they were doing that. Today we also practiced for our fifth grade musical. It went great. At recess we had an In Three Words thing. Everyone got to pick three words to use and describe what they will miss in fifth grade. My words were Mr. Haney’s Sports and it was really cool. 

Hey guys!!! It is week 34 and we did a lot of fun stuff and will keep doing a lot of fun stuff for the rest of the year. This week was health week at our school. On Monday, a girl came and did Zumba with us in the gym. On Tuesday, a guy came to talk to us about diabetes. On Wednesday, I was not here because of track. I got third place in the sack race and my brother got sixth place in the 400 relay. When I wasn’t here on Wednesday there was a karate teacher for the rest of the school that didn’t come to the track meet. On Thursday, one of the teacher’s at our schools sister came. She did a lot of yoga with us and when we were done I was able to do my middle split. Today we are doing the walk for diabetes. I think that we have to walk a mile. This week we also started our countries research paper, and we also started our novels. Mine is about a girl named Mary Hayden that is 11 and she is an orphan but I am not done with my story yet. This week was mostly T-Caps. On  monday we had a day of trivia to get ready for the T-Cap week. On Tuesday we took the Reading/Language Arts Tcap. It was pretty easy but very long. On Wednesday we took the Math T-Cap. My T-Cap was pretty easy for me but some people might have thought it was hard. On Thursday we took the Science T-Cap. I think that the science T-Cap was the easiest because I am REALLY good at science. Today we took the History T-Cap. I think that it was pretty easy but a little hard at the same time. We were also going to plant pumpkins today but we left them outside yesterday and something got them and they were all gone. Tomorrow is my friend’s birthday, Larah. HAPPY B-DAY LARAH!!!!!!   PEACE OUT!!!

My week 32 was really awesome. I am so happy because yesterday was Anna Cate’s B-Day. We also went to the outside classroom yesterday. We also made a fence around the garden. Ok so as you guys can tell we did not do much this week. But we did do a lot of REVIEW. This week we have been helping the third graders. I have had two different girls, on named Brittany who I ordered girl scout cookies from and never got them!!!!!! and a little girl named Natalia that I did reading with. This has been a short week but today we get to have a compliment party because we filled our chain. Anna Cate is having a fund raiser to build a new door for the Door of Hope in South Africa. If you look it up you will find out why she is having the fundraiser. Today we had a soul singers performance and I was in it!!!! We sang songs from all over the world. My favorite song was Small Part Of The World. Here is a pic from soul singers.I am the third from the right of the first row. This week was really fun!! This week we did not have a Monday. This week we had A LOT of T-Cap Review. We got our letters from Spain and I am so happy cuz we got presents from them. My girl from Spain is named Aitana. On Tuesday we got our new safety posts and I got the post checker along with my friend Gillian. On Wednesday we had our science final and I got a -1 because I accidentally skipped a question. Our student teacher, Anna Cate, is redecorating our bulletin board in the hallway with our favorite things about fifth grade. There is a boy in my class named Ethan and it was his B-Day yesterday so he brought delicious cupcakes!!! See ya later dudes and dudettes. BYYEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Week 30 was really fun and easy to do. On Monday The Track results came out and I made the Sack Race. I did the sack race in third grade too. I am so excited for it. On Tuesday after school we started a T-Cap Club. I am in it and all we do is review for the T-Caps and do Trivia. I think it is pretty fun though. Oh and last Friday night some kids from my math class and homeroom went to see The Hunger Games. I would give it a five star rating but it is a little violent so watch out if you have not read the book like me because there will be some surprises. On Wednesday we had an old student teacher from the beginning of the year come back. Her name is Ms. Kasper.  Thursday is today and I have a lot for it. Today we got our new safety posts and I got Hall Patrol along with my friend named Gillian. The girls get a party for getting the highest score on the Map Quiz so we get to stay in the classroom and eat lunch and play games. I am writing my post on Thursday instead of Friday because we are out tomorrow for Good Friday, the Friday before Easter. We get a 4 day weekend so I am very excited. I am going to do a lot with my American Girl. Her name is Hayden and she is 7. She is a just like me that I created online and got for Christmas. Here is kinda what she looks like.

This week felt really short. This week we did a lot of activities. In tech club we planted our new garden. In tech club we also made quiz games. This week since every teacher gets evaluated mine got evaluated and got a really good score. I am so happy for him. On Wednesday we got our report cards and as always I got ALL As and Es. Since we did such a good job with the evaluation we got to eat outside at the picnic tables yesterday!! Our class has so much technology we had 5 teachers from a school in the Knox county come and watch how we use it everyday. Yesterday we had a history test on the whole unit and I got a 100. It seemed hard on the study guide but it was really easy on the test. Tomorrow morning there is going to be a Pancake Breakfast for our school. We also tried out for track this week. Hey it is Madi!! This week we got letters from the Philippines and I would like to give a shout out to mine named Norhanna. I was talking about my friend Claire a little last time and I would like to tell everyone that her birthday was yesterday. This week I started my shift on the KRHS Morning News. I am the new anchor along with my friend Reagan. Tomorrow we start spring break. I am going to Hilton Head in the Carolinas. So excited and hope to see some friends while I am there. Today we have a MAP QUIZ and we are going to take down the boys. Anna Cate is my new babysitter. She is a girl in High School who is helping in my class. She always has the prettiest clothes and necklaces. That is pretty much it!!! BYE!!!!!!!!

Hi! It is Madi or Madeline and I am here to tell about my city and county. I live in Knoxville, Tennessee in the Rocky hill zone. There are so many forests and plants here! I love living here because of the weather too. Comment where you live and why you like it. So many good people and friends live here too! But if I could live anywhere I wished I would live in Hollywood or LA. Living in Knoxville is the best place I have ever lived in because the warm weather. This is my favorite place to live ever!
